Places he plays regularly include Muirfield and Scioto Country Clubs, Franklin Park Conservatory, the Columbus Athletic Club, Darby Dan Retreat House and private parties all over Columbus. He has also played for the Schumacher Gallery.

Doug's greatest strengths are his flexibility and broad repertoire. For example, when a bride recently wanted music to suit her needs exactly but had no idea where to begin, Doug took an entire evening to consult with her and her fiancé. They decided upon a wide array of music including classical and pop favorites on solo piano as well as jazz with singing. Doug even learned Enya from the CD for this occasion.

Doug can bring his own portable electric piano when necessary.
